The Digital Drums 501 Electronic Drum Kit is an excellent all inclusive package. For the price you get everything you need to start playing (including a USB socket for interaction with your computer). It is a budget kit and the sound is not quite as good as an actual acoustic set (as you would imagine) but it is still very good and is the perfect set to introduce someone to playing and to practice and learn on.
